What does Ameriprise Financial look for in a candidate?
We look for people with a strong academic background and passion to succeed, who are well-rounded and have participated in a variety of activities. We consider your leadership skills and work experience as well.
What time of year does Ameriprise recruit for internship and LDP programs?
Ameriprise Financial focuses on recruiting these positions in the fall and spring for the summer of the following year. Should a line of business warrant additional off-cycle recruiting support, those situations are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Students who have successfully completed an internship with Ameriprise Financial may take the next steps in continuing their experience with us if they are offered a rotational position in our Leadership Development Program (LDP) starting the summer after they graduate. Should additional LDP positions be identified, those completing their senior year of college and external to the Ameriprise campus program will be brought into consideration.
What types of on-campus events does Ameriprise participate in?
Ameriprise Financial may be on campus in the fall and again in the spring for career fairs, information sessions, mock interviews, resume reviews and on-campus interviews.
