Always check your account statements and confirmations to see if your transactions were processed according to your instructions — the right investments in the right amounts. Also look for fees that you don’t understand.

If you see incorrect information on your account statements or confirmations, or if you have any other issues, you may take the following steps:

  1. Contact your financial advisor right away. If you don’t have a financial advisor, contact Customer Service at 800.862.7919. Most issues are addressed by speaking with a financial advisor or a Customer Service associate.
  2. Contact your financial advisor’s branch office and ask to speak to the registered principal.
